William Morris and the Theatre: Scholar Nicholas Salmon published a landmark article in the Spring 1998 issue challenging the traditional view of Morris's relationship with drama. He argued that Morris's attitude toward the theater was far more positive and involved than previously assumed by early biographers.

The William Morris Society of Canada is a non-profit organization founded in 1981 and based in Toronto, Ontario, dedicated to fostering knowledge about the life, work, and ideals of 19th-century visionary, designer, and socialist William Morris.
